The Tennessee Concealed Carry permit is honored in the 36 states listed below:

- Colorado (resident permit only) (Does not honor 18- 20 year old permits)
- Delaware
- Florida (resident permit only) (Does not honor 18- 20 year old permits)
- Georgia
- Idaho
- Indiana
- Iowa
- Kansas
- Kentucky
- Louisiana
- Maine
- Michigan (resident permit only)
- Mississippi
- Missouri
- Montana
- Nebraska (Does not honor 18- 20 year old permits)
- Nevada (Does not honor 18-20 year old permits or Retired Law Enforcement Lifetime)
- New Hampshire
- New Mexico
- North Carolina
- Ohio
- Oklahoma
- Pennsylvania (resident permit only) (Does not honor 18-20 year old)
- South Carolina (resident permit only)
- South Dakota
- Texas
- Utah
- Virginia
- West Virginia(Does not honor 18-20 year old permits or non-resident permits)
- Wisconsin (Does not honor 18-20 year old permits)
- Wyoming
Tennessee Enhanced Permits are accepted by all of the above, in addition to:
- North Dakota (Does not honor 18-20 year old permits)
Keep in mind that if carrying in another state, you must adhere to that state's laws, including age requirement for concealed carry.

The State of Tennessee accepts all Concealed Carry Permits from other states. If you have a valid permit from your home state, Tennessee will honor it.
