Vermont is a constitutional carry state and DOES NOT allow for the issuance of concealed carry permits either both resident and non-residents. Meaning, if you can lawfully possess a firearm, you are able to carry either concealed or open. That being said, it is highly encouraged to go through proper training before purchasing a firearm.
Due to reciprocity laws, the California concealed carry permit is currently recognized in 27 additional states. This means that if you are a California resident with a valid California concealed carry permit, you can legally carry concealed in any of the other 27 states recognizing the California permit.
