The State of New York will issue a NYPL (New York Pistol License), which allows concealed carry, to both residents and non-residents provided the non-resident is employed in the state of New York.

New York City issues their own permits, valid statewide. NYPL's are not valid in New York City unless they are validated.

New York concealed carry permits are honored in the 25 states listed below:

Keep in mind that if carrying in another state, you must adhere to that state's laws, including age requirement for concealed carry.
